Dawn Marie Paley

Dawn Marie Paley is a journalist from Vancouver, BC (Occupied Musqueam, Skwxwú7mesh, and Tsleil Waututh Territories). She’s been based in Mexico since 2011. Drug War Capitalism, her first book, was released in November 2014, with AK Press.

She’s written for magazines and newspapers including the The Nation, The Dominion, Ms. Magazine, The Tyee, the Georgia Straight, Briarpatch, NACLA Report, This Magazine, La Jornada, Upside Down World, and many others, with a focus on alternative media. Her work in radio and television has been featured on Democracy Now!, Free Speech Radio News, and CBC Radio.
