I wrote to the Governor General in an attempt to call the parliament back to impose sanctions on Israel. I realize it won’t work. What I am not seeing is something that will work. The best I have seen is people getting lawyers in France and England and going after their political leaders. What Carney and Anand are doing is illegal. I don’t see anything about an investigation or possible criminal charges being brought against them. They need to be charged and prosecuted for their criminal and treasonous acts. Who can do this? (treasonous in the sense that they are working for Israel)
We have to hold our politicians and bankers accountable. They are literally committing mass murder. In England and France people have hired lawyers to bring charges and prosecute those who are complicit. We need to do the same. Their ability to do their jobs will dramatically increase once it becomes clear there are real consequences.
What they are doing is illegal both internationally and domestically.
Hard to listen to, Israel has inflicted so much death, suffering and damage to the Palestinian people and in order to give Israel free reign, those “journalists” distracted and lied for 22 months and attacked people who cried out for stopping the genocide that Israel commits. Now they quietly reposition themselves, I feel sick.
We need to raise the pressure. We need to reach people who don’t know, or can still be shocked into acting. I created a poster saying “Canada is Arming a Genocide.” Below is the quote from Israeli defense minister Yoav Gallant saying “I have ordered a complete siege of Gaza. There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed.” Then there is a picture of a starving child. Then a blurb about how Canada complete lied about their arms embargo, with a QR code link. There’s another QR code to activist stuff, and another to Bisan from Gaza’s page. I’m going to post these places in real time. That’s my idea–keen to hear others.
