Ford’s Conservatives, among others, are presenting privatization as a solution to the health care crisis. The Breach spoke to three doctors about what governments could do right away to make real improvements.

The power of transformative journalism

The Breach’s investigations don’t just inform our readers—they force the powerful to react.

An exposé on blood plasma privatization led to national headlines. Our revelations about the government’s cozy connections to Big Pharma sparked a parliamentary probe. A report on high-tech price-fixing by mega landlords resulted in a criminal investigation.

From activists to elected officials, people are using The Breach’s journalism to push for transformative change.

Congratulations to The Breach for this most succinct and to-the-point set of interviews! True, the solutions are deceptively simple, and anyone concerned about cost definitely needs to do the math!!! And these can’t wait, because health care people are getting SICK of repeating the same thing!!! We’ve been preaching this mantra condemning privatization for decades!!

Its time for all Ontarians to use their vote and voices to change to a provincial gov’t that thinks we matter. This gov’t does not. Wake up and care about our precious Universal Health Care system before its too late! Get involved everyone and take this seriously. LJB
