Matthew Green is no longer an NDP MP, but he hasn’t stopped trying to transform the party.
He talks to Desmond Cole about a campaign to renew the NDP—and what it will take to pry control from consultants, and put it in the hands of the grassroots.

An excellent interview,
a half hour well spent.
Thank you.
What a great interview. I really wish he was still in parliament to help Heather McP raise the Palestine issue. But I think the renewal work is crucial, so that’s time well spent on his part.
Very good presentation of the basics of what ails the NDP & the need to make a fundamental change in the way people are consulted and included, how the decision making processes of the party at various levels needs to become more democratic and inclusive, and importantly, to get away from the marketing model of selling the leader during elections, but instead, winning votes through real engagement. Bravo!
