Spoken like a true coward. When confronted with a threat that has the potential to destroy the future of your children, your grandchildren and your country, your reaction is to deny the threat exists rather than confront it.

I absolutely feel this woman, Tara, is correct about having a daily report on the climate. People need to understand & CBC should take on the responsibility for informing the public.
You’re dancing around the reasons why fossil fuel use and climate change are being avoided by politicians, reporters and the public.
People don’t want to accept or change to their standard of living. No one willing accepts less if more is available or can be made available. That kind of change is hard to establish.
You can debate about what’s driving climate change until you light your hair on fire but these debates won’t explain why fossil fuels have an established connection to people’s behaviour.
Why are we building more pipelines and transmission lines and expanding the tarsands?
Unfortunately the solutions means changing life styles of those contributing most to the problem. And guess what? They are not willing to take away the stuff the makes their life enjoyable. They won’t willingly move to a lifestyle that is less pleasurable.
The CBC has plenty of reporting on climate change, more than most news orgs. They also link wild fires back to climate change in some way in almost every article they do about them, so I’m not sure where this compliant is coming from.
