Wow!! Just listened to a wonderful interview with Leah Gazam!! THANK YOU

This sounds like my family, but with less rigour. We did play monopoly and Leah is right, its a capitalist training board. I also agree with her that we need a new radicalization on the left. Being slightly to the left of the vacant centre isn’t good enough….but we have to involve the young if we’re going to build a movement.

It would also be nice if some thought was given to how we keep our well educated seniors engaged….as experienced voices not just cash cows.

Because at 80, I still want to work for a better future for my grandkids…..but I’m also angry at all the requests for money from a party too cowardly to let Ives Engler run. I learned the truth of our sycophantic foreign policy from Yves, and with the illegal war waging in the Middle East…..all Canadians need to get up to speed about our actual foreign policy……and stop pretending we’ve been better global citizens than our good friends to the south of us.

It’s not true….and the deplatforming of Yves Engler proves how not true our fantasy of being good global citizens actually is.
So we’re lifers, but holding on to our money right now, until we see less fear and more vision in the party Tommy Douglas and the farmers of Saskachewan created.

You go Leah…..we’re not Liberals either, and we’ve been a bit ashamed how many ND’s voted for a central banker to avoid a right wing fascist…….did none of them see the shell game?
We want a resurgence, but not more of the same…we need real socialism, real clarity of values…and a path forward to peace and a green economy.
Only the NDP revitalized can get us there, in our opinion.

Exactly because of everything that Leah Gazan is expressing here that we need the NDP! I would love a Party that is grounded in Indigenous and deep Canada values. I’m praying for Heather to lead the party.
